L'auteur, Maître Raoul Darmon (1885-1976) était docteur en droit et doyen de l'ordre des avocats de Tunis. Titre peu courant désormais. Exemplaire provenant de la bibliothèque du professeur Georges-Henri Bousquet (1900-1978). Docteur en droit en 1923 avec une thèse sur 'L'évolution sociale en Hollande 1914-1922', G.-H. Bousquet reste surtout connu comme économiste proche de Pareto et Schumpeter (il connut personnellement les deux auteurs), ainsi que comme un islamisant de l'école de Goldziher et Snouck-Hugronje. Il fut notamment professeur aux facultés d'Alger puis de Bordeaux. Français
