Khadimî [Hadimî] was born in 1701 and died in 1762. He began his education life and maintained it in Konya and studied in Istanbul. Then he returned to Khadim. He lectured at the madrasah. He was mufti of Khadim and shayh of Nakshi order. His works number is not known by sources. He is well-known in Ottoman science world via lecturing sultan and talking Fatiha commentary and his work Macami al-hakayik and Sharh Tarikat al- Muhammadiya called Barika. The cause of why Ottoman authors interested in Macami hasn't been investigated until now. According to me it has got a strong logic and it has been written in basic principal. These qualifications attracted Ottoman authors. It is a philosophical principal and the relation of essence (jawhar) and attributes (araz). In that, KHadimî has got strong logical knowledge. He showed it in his mystical works and his written advices for pupils and his letters left as will. Questa visione predominante, peraltro formulata da un intellettuale arabo non fondamentalista, è probabilmente una delle principali cause dell'evidente conflitto politico, sociale e ideologico presente nella quasi totalità dei paesi musulmani. Nasr Abu Zayd, uno dei più importanti intellettuali arabi, condensò nelle pagine coraggiose e illuminanti di questo libro le sue riflessioni circa la necessità di contestualizzare il testo sacro nella storia, cercando di restituire all'interpretazione del Corano il suo valore più autentico per sottrarlo a qualsiasi manipolazione politica e religiosa. Ciò che il Corano offre ai musulmani, sostiene Abu Zayd, non è l'islamizzazione della vita, e neppure la totale separazione della religione dalla vita. Separare la religione dallo Stato è tuttavia essenziale, senza che ciò significhi relegare la religione sullo sfondo della vita sociale. Come modalità di comunicazione tra Dio e l'uomo, il Corano, argomenta Abu Zayd, insegna che l'interpretazione letterale del testo sacro significa congelare la parola di Dio nel momento del suo annuncio storico, ovvero semplificare e impoverire l'immensa e complessa dottrina dell'Islam, trasformando una religione della fede in una religione delle opere e dei riti.

Exceedingly rare first edition of the first Ottoman voyage to Cape of Good Hope and first-hand travel account of the Ottoman qadi Abubakr Effendi (1814-1880) of South Africa and Mozambique, who was sent in 1862 by Sultan Abdulaziz at the British Queen Victoria's request in order to teach and assist the Muslim community of the Cape Malays. The presence of the Muslim population in South Africa dates back to the 16th century, South Africa and the Cape of Hope have become a colony of Western countries such as Portugal, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. The Ottoman Empire was interested in the Far East, Javanese, and South African regions in the 16th century and then tried to establish a relationship. The direct relationship between the Ottoman Empire and South Africa in the 19th century, upon the request of the Muslim people and England, was formed through Abubakr Effendi. The Muslims in conflict with various religious issues have found the remedy by consulting a scholar from the Ottoman Empire through England. After all, Abubakr Effendi reached Cape Town in 1862 and tried to resolve the conflicts among the Muslim people. (Abubakr Effendi: An Ottoman Scholar in South Africa in the Nineteenth Century: Yilmaz, Yusuf). "Abubakr Efendi was sent to Cape Town by Ottoman Sultan Abdulaziz. When chaos reigned in the Islamic society because of the imams who declared themselves as leaders in the region, Muslim leaders in Cape of Good Hope conveyed their letters to the Queen of England in 1862 declaring that they needed a religious leader. Since they had not been educated for years, they had forgotten their Java language and could not read their own books. They sent a letter to the Queen of England, informing them that help could be sought from the Ottoman court, the center of Muslim countries in the period. The issue was refused in the Parliament and the Ottoman Ambassador Musurus Pasha was offered it to the Ottoman Sultan. Abubakr Effendi's mission was to prevent Muslims in Cape of Good Hope to clash with each other and teaching them authentic Islamic knowledge free of superstition. Although Abubakr Efendi had some Arabic translators in his service, he still learned English and African languages in a short time and wrote books in order to benefit the Muslims there. On the fifteenth day he set foot on the continent, he opened a madrasah called the "Ottoman School" and enrolled three hundred students in twenty days. He traveled to Mauritius and Mozambique. He wrote his famous book 'Bayan al-Din' (a sort of catechism) in Afrikaan in Arabic letters. Then he married Rukiye Hanim, but they divorced after a while since they had to communicate by using an English and Arabic dictionary. Then he married James Cook's nephew Tahota Saban Cook. In his memoir, Ömer Lütfi wrote down all the travels of Abubakr Efendi for two years. Abubakr Efendi stayed in South Africa for 22 years and died there." Abu Man?ur al-Maturidi (d. 333/944) was a Muslim theologian who was born in Ma?urid district of the city of Samarkand which was within the borders of contemporary Uzbekistan and died in the same district. He was probably a scholar of Turkish origin. The region where al-Maturidi lived had been under the Abbasid rule at first, but later in the period of Mutawakkil Alallah came under the rule of Samanids. In that period, a fertile ground for raising competent scholars was introduced by the hands of the state. Imam al-Maturidi got his education and produced works in such a prolific environment. Al-Maturidi was a great Muslim scholar who, together with Abu al-?asan al-'Ash'ari, systemized the theological principles of Sunnite School, advocated the understanding of the Prophet and his Companions regarding fundamental Islamic issues and tried to establish them among Muslims, and fought against extreme views of Mutazilites, Shiites, and other similar sects. Due to their moderate attitudes in the relationship between reason and revelation, these two scholars, i.e. al-Maturidi and al-'Ash'ari, were attracted attention and accepted by wide range of masses. Maturidiyya School which was established after the name of Imam al-Maturidi and in line with Abu ?anifa's understanding is a theological school that has managed to gather half of the Muslim population around it. Al-Maturidi's Kitab al-Taw?id is one of the fundamental books of this school. Despite this fact, it is not possible to say that Kitab al-Taw?id is adequately known in scholarly circles especially among the adherents of Maturidiyya School.
