This work was reprinted in London in 1855 with the title 'Pictures of Cuba'. "Gan-Eden' is garden of Eden or garden of delight, which expresses the author's feelings of his stay and travels through Cuba, his impressions of the people, way of life, towns, climate, nature, etc. Quite an attractive copy.
