Interessante repertorio sulla vegetazione del Sud Africa, preceduto da una trattazione di botanica generale: struttura dei semi, germinazione, ramificazioni, innesti, strutture e funzioni dei fiori, frutti, semi, ecc., seguito dalla trattazione sulla vegetazione particolare per ogni regione del sud Africa, il tutto arricchito dalle numerosissime illustrazioni esplicative, da un elenco delle piante menzionate e da un indice dei termini usati. A parte le mende e mancanze alla legatura, il volume è in bello stato, qualche piccola annotazione a matita, ben legato e fruibile. Particolare, interessante e davvero poco comune.
