Un contributo sulla vera storia del Sacro Graal, la reliquia cristiana che più di tutte ha affascinato gli studiosi di ogni epoca e stimolato la fantasia di scrittori e registi. Una storia indissolubilmente legata ai celti, uno dei popoli più enigmatici che, assieme ai Mava e agli Egizi, aveva compreso la Scienza del Sole. La vicenda inizia a Gerusalemme con Giuseppe d'Arimatea, che porta il Graal in Gran Bretagna, e prosegue nell'Inghilterra celtica con Re Artù che, estraendo la spada Excalibur dalla roccia è riuscito a decifrare i codici celtici e a bere dalla Coppa di Luce. Cotterell rivela come la coppa sia poi passata in mano ai monaci affinché venisse custodita e come li abbia ispirati nella scrittura dei "Lindisfarme Gospel" e del "Book of Kells". Di come essi siano fuggiti dai vichinghi attraverso il mare per giungere a Kells, in Irlanda, dove il Graal si troverebbe ancora oggi nel National Museum of Ireland accanto a Excalibur.
