Illustrated with frontispiece and three plates all with tissue guards printed in red. Volume 1 only 3 more volumes appeared the last in 1935. This volume is probably the most useful as it contains Kingsbury's valuable 115 page history and extensive 89 page bibliography of "all documents letters publications or other records of the Virginia Company or relating to the company between 1616 and 1625
and also those previous to 1616 which are not published or cited by Alexander Brown in THE GENESIS OF THE UNITED STATES." The remaining 431 pages reproduce for the first time the Court Book manuscripts from 1619 to 1622. Preface by Herbert Levi Osgood. Bound in the original greenish-grey cloth stamped in bright gold on the spine and front cover.
