Hardcover bound in original green cloth with cover designs in black and gilt. The binding shows some rubbing and wear but is sound with secure inner hinges. The binding is also a bit soiled from handling and has some pale spotting on the spine. Top edge of the front cover is abraded and the top edge of the text block shows some pest damage extending into the margins of the pages some from 45 to 80. An ink stamp on the front flyleaf reads "Compliments of the Publisher". The text itself appears clean.
