Illustrator: Betty Paterson. 150 g; VIII 40 pages illustrated throughout with black-and-white illustrations. The "dustwrapper with attached fold overs is of a textured "vellum" and is stapled as part of the book. The rear panel has an illustration with the artist's signature in facsimile. The front panel has a black cat with a blue shadow on cream-coloured background. The book was probably printed in the 1950s and bears a gift inscription signed by the author on the first page and included with it is a Christmas card again echoing the sentiments of the inscription but with the inclusion of the words "and babies" probably referring to cats.
