SCRIPOPHILY. Collecting Bonds And Stock Certificates.
Facts on File: 1983. 144 pages illustrated in color and b&w. "Scripophily the collecting of old bonds and share certificates began in earnest following the publication of two catalogues in Germany listing and illustrating most of the bonds issued by pre-revolutionary China and Russia- the later covering railroads. The old bonds and stock certificates are early financial documents and their historical and economic backgrounds are clearly explained. This is an important aspect of scripophily because if still valid the bond or certificate can be worth a lot more than a first glance might suggest." FINE HARDCOVER FINE- DUST JACKET. Hard Cover.
