La scoperta risolve la serie di inspiegate incongruenze drammaturgiche che ancora gravavano su questo repertorio e modifica il volto di una riforma i cui prodotti teatrali risultano essere stati fortemente condizionati fin nelle strutture drammatiche profonde dai loro ritrovati contenuti simbolici e ideologici. Through an interdisciplinary reading, on an historical documentary basis, of the works comprising the reform of melodrama according to Gluck the unexpected presence of a complex and occult chain of masonic patronage is identified. The discovery solves the series of unexplained dramaturgical incongruities that still encumber this repertoire and alter the aspect of a reform whose theatrical products appear strongly conditioned in the depths of their dramatic structure by the discovery of their symbolic and ideological contents. 748 gr. xvi-370 p.
