‎Einband leicht berieben. - Viktor von Weizsäcker (1886-1957) gilt heute als einer der Begründer der psychosomatischen Medizin. Sein ursprüngliches Anliegen reichte weiter, es ging ihm um eine Reform der Medizin von ihren Grundlagen her. Durch Psychoanalyse und Gestaltkreislehre, die Weizsäckers Arbeitskreis an der Neurologischen Klinik in Heidelberg aufnahm bzw. entwickelte, sollte eine "anthropologische" Wende in der Inneren Medizin in Gang gebracht werden. Darin war eine Kritik des einseitig mechanistischen Denkens in den Naturwissenschaften ebenso enthalten wie eine Abkehr von entleerten Formen der Arzt- Patient-Beziehung. April 1946 in Baden-Baden) war ein deutscher Psychologe, bekannt für seine Forschungen über den Geruch. ? Henning entwickelte 1916 das sogenannte "Henning-Prisma", eine Systematik, bei der sechs Grundgerüche (würzig, blumig, fruchtig, harzig, faulig, brenzlig) den Ecken eines Prismas zugeordnet und für den Körper des Prismas entsprechende Übergänge angegeben werden. Seine chemische Systematik der Gerüche versuchte er mit dem Geruchs-Prisma zu verbinden (Geruchswahrnehmung). Analog untersuchte er den Geschmack. ? (wiki) // ... Die Lokalisation und Erscheinungsweise der Gerüche zeigt eigenartige Unterschiede. Gewöhnlich lokalisiert man in den Nasenraum, jedoch nicht genau an die Riechschleimhaut, sondern etwas unterhalb. Bezieht sich der komplexe Eindruck auch auf andere Hautsinne (z.B. Kälte-Endapparate an der Innenseite der Nasenflügel), so wird die Lokalisation des komplexen Eindruckes davon betroffen. Erlebt man einen Geruch, während man gleichzeitig durch die Nase ausatmet, so lokalisiert man den Geruch meistens etwas unterhalb der Nasenlöcher in den Luftstrom außerhalb der Nase. Gegenüber der Lokalisation des Geruches in den Nasenraum (Gegebenheitsgeruch) gibt es im alltäglichen Leben noch eine zweite Art): der Duft wird an die erblickte Riechquelle lokalisiert, wobei er mit dem optischen Eindruck zu einem einheitlichen Komplex verschmilzt (Gegenstandsgeruch). Beispielsweise kann ein Blütengeruch örtlich an den erblickten Blumenstrauß lokalisiert sein, als dessen Eigenschaft er dann erscheint, wie Bourdon analog die Berührungsempfindungen beim Basieren an sein Bild im Spiegel lokalisierte. Raro trattato sugli istinti primitivi dell'uomo, paragonati a quelli degli animali. L'autore (1843-86), che si definisce “colonel de cavalerie” ebbe una vita avventurosa al seguito di Garibaldi e poi in Centro America. “Dal 1854 al 1863 frequentò il Collegio valdese di Torre Pellice, poi intraprese la carriera militare presso la Scuola di Cavalleria di Pinerolo; nel 1866 dopo la sconfitta di Custoza decise di unirsi alle truppe che Garibaldi stava radunando per la liberazione di Roma. Considerato disertore per aver abbandonato il suo reggimento, fu costretto a rifugiarsi in Inghilterra. Qui trovò inizialmente lavoro come insegnante, per poi assumere l’incarico propostogli da Garibaldi di raccogliere fondi per finanziare la spedizione romana viaggiando per tutta la Gran Bretagna. In seguito alla disfatta di Mentana e all’arresto di Garibald preferì tornare a Londra, e nel 1869 riprese la carriera militare partendo per il Canada, dove entrò nell’esercito ribelle di Louis Riel, capo del governo provvisorio istituito nella colonia di Red River in seguito alla ribellione del popolo Métis al dominio canadese, diventando comandante militare di Fort Garry con il grado di colonnello. Lo scoppio della guerra franco-prussiana lo spinsero a tornare in Francia per arruolarsi nell’esercito, e il 20 agosto 1870 raggiunge Tours, sede del Governo di unità nazionale, dove incontrò il generale Lodovico Frapolli, già capo di Stato maggiore di Garibaldi, sbarcato in Francia per organizzarvi un corpo di volontari. Nel novembre 1870 fu arruolato nell’armata dei Vosgi con il grado di colonnello di cavalleria e partecipò alle battaglie di Digione e Lantenay (24-27 novembre), e poco dopo, con il grado di colonnello degli Ussari, partì immediatamente per l’Africa settentrionale con l’incarico di organizzare alcuni squadroni di cavalleria. Il 9 febbraio 1871 lasciò l’Algeria diretto a Lione, ma nel marzo, al momento dello scioglimento dell'esercito francese si trovava a Sisteron, quindi a Versailles da dove si spinse fino a Parigi nei giorni della caduta della città sotto l’attacco prussiano. Nell’aprile 1871 raggiunse Londra e sposò Sophie, la direttrice della Pension Cresseil, un istituto di perfezionamento per giovinette di buona famiglia. La coppia si trasferì a Parigi per aprire una scuola nel sobborgo elegante di Neuilly e dove nacque il loro figlio Matthieu. In quegli anni Enrico Gay ebbe la possibilità di godere di una certa sicurezza economica. Tuttavia all’inizio del 1880 decise di recarsi in Messico per mettersi al servizio del generale Carillo de Albornoz che si preparava a rovesciare Porfirio Díaz, suscitando una ribellione tra la popolazione contadina del paese. Malgrado le promesse di una carriera politica, fu inviato dal nuovo presidente Manuel González ai confini del Messico con il compito di tracciare i confini del paese, e soltanto tre anni dopo il suo arrivo, nell’agosto 1881, la moglie e il figlio furono in grado di trasferirsi a Città del Messico. Nel 1884 Porfirio Díaz riassunse la presidenza, e conferì a Enrico Ippolito l’incarico di capo della “Commissione di Storia naturale e colonizzazione in Messico e Centro America”, ovvero di responsabile della vendita di terreno pubblico e privato inglobato nel territorio messicano grazie alle sue esplorazioni, limitandosi a concedergli alcune miniere d’oro nello stato di Jalisco. Nel gennaio 1886 la moglie Sophie e il figlio Matthieu partirono per la California, stabilendosi a San Francisco, e nel maggio dello stesso anno Gay si recò a Panama per formare una compagnia per lo sfruttamento delle miniere di sua proprietà investendo tutti gli averi che gli rimanevano.
