‎The Unwritten Literary World of Tribal Communities is nothing but the Oral Literature or Folklore. It covers stories, legends, myths, song, dances, riddles, proverbs, metaphors and such other aspects of their culture which are in their memory and handed down from generation to generation. These sources of their literary world speak of their spiritual world and the eco-system. The older persons are the store house of of their oral literature and from these sources the literary world of theirs is disseminated among the youngsters. This book gives the folklore of four tribal communities namely, the Kharias, the Oraons, the Santals and the Mundas of Orissa. The Kharias are a hunting and food gathering community, the Oraons are noted for the dance and music and the Santals are well known as hard working cultivators and skilled in wall painting, and noted for their sense of beauty. The cultural patterns of these tribal communities and their life-ways and thought-ways are different from one another as revealed in the analysis of their oral literature. Even though they lead a life full of wants and difficulties, they are very labourious and joyful by virtue of which they forget their sorrows and miseries. About The Author:- Dr. Nityananda Patnaik, is a reputed Anthropologist was born in 1927 and educated in Calcutta University. He has many publications in the form of books and papers all related to various aspects of Social Anthropology to his credit. His very recent published books are 1. Sacred Complex of Orissa and 2. Anthropological Studies on Indian Societies. Some of his forthcoming books are 1. The Santal Medicine (The Santal Worldview and Indigenous Health Practices and Herbal Medicine), 2. Torch Bearers of Vedic Tradition : Brahmin Sasan Villages in Orissa, 3. Forest Tribes of Orissa – Vol. III, The Juang of Kendujhar and 4. Forest Tribes of Orissa – Vol. IV, The Bhuinya of Kendujhar, 5. Agricultural Practices among Tribal Communities of Orissa. He has been one of the teachers in Post-Graduate Department of Anthropology, Utkal University. Thereafter, he joined National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) as Director of Anthropology. During his tenure at the NIRD, he received a fellowship from the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, where he concentrated his efforts and brought out a publication namely, Cultural Tradition in Puri. After serving for about 13 years at the NIRD he came back to Orissa to work as the Director of Tribal and Harijan Research-cum-Training Institute, Government of Orissa. After his retirement from the Government service he established his own research institute namely, social Science and Development Research Institute (SSADRI) at Bhubaneswar which is engaged in social services, tribal development and also in research studies. Intergroup Contact Theory describes how social contact can improve relations between groups in conflict. This book examines a series of five tandem language classes that have never before been studied in an intergroup contact context. Applying the theory?s principles, native Germans and Turkish immigrants taught each other German and Turkish supervised by a bilingual language teacher. Statistical analyses reveal a prejudice-reducing effect for course participants relative to a non-participating control group. Nella “Perugia Augusta” di Cesare Crispolti (la più antica guida di Perugia, la cui prima edizione è del 1597) il Tobia viene menzionato, con Ranaldo Ridolfini, come “famosi & chiari dottori di Legge”. Tra le sue opere questa “Interpretationes in nonnullos Institutionum titulos”,la cui prima edizione è del 1568. Scorrendo l'indice, alla lettera M si trovano elencati alcuni paragrafi in cui si citano maledizioni, malefici, con l'indicazione della carta e il numero del paragrafo a numerazione postillata per meglio trovare gli argomenti nelle relative pagine. Nome di appartenenza al front., lievi sgualciture della pergamena e di alcune carte, esemplare peraltro fascinoso, fresco e ben conservato. Alcune gualciture alla pergamena ma buon esemplare fresco e genuino.‎
