Der erstgenannte Vortrag hatte versucht, hinzuweisen auf das Recht, die Aufgabe und Notwendigkeit, Einzelner zu sein auch im Zeitalter zusammengeballter Massen, politischer Führerschaft und Dämonie, der zweitgenannte wollte den Blick auf die Grundlagen und Grundelemente menschlicher Gemeinschaft lenken, also nach den Ordnungen des Ganzen fragen. Beides führt von verschiedenen Blickpunkten auf dieselbe Mitte, denn überall handelt es sich um das Mensch-Sein, das nicht ein Allgemeines, Zahlen- und Nummernhaftes, ein Generalnenner über der individuellen und geschichtlichen Besonderheit sein kann, sondern die Kategorie des Einzelnen bedeutet, die als schöpferisches und unvergleichbares Sein eine innere Welt in sich trägt, einem unsichtbaren Reich zugehörig und verpflichtet ist."‎
