In ?Nuova idea.? Cogrossi e Vallisneri sostennero l?ipotesi del contagio vivo come eziologia delle patologie epidemiche. Sulla scorta del principio dell?analogia della natura operarono una generalizzazione fra le cause delle parassitosi conosciute e quelle dei contagi epidemici. ?Miglioramenti e correzioni? was published in 1712, just after the first volume of Redi?s ?Opere?, correcting and completing them in some parts, mainly in order to support and define the controversy over spontaneous generation. In ?Nuova idea?, Cogrossi and Vallisneri supported the hypothesis of live infection as aetiology in epidemic diseases. Using the principle of analogy in nature, they arrived at a generalization between the causes of known parasitic diseases and those of epidemic infections. 341 gr. viii-176 p.

Paris, Fortin Masson, 1840. (1832 - 1840). Deux volumes in-plano (56 x 41,5 cms), 2 ff. (Titre et Rapport fait à l'Académie des sciences par Duméril et Geoffroy-Saint-Hilaire) suivi de 90 planches doubles montées sur onglets. Marges de la première planche restaurées, des rousseurs plus ou moins prononcées, petites mouillures à certaines planches sans gravité, quelques déchirures marginales restaurées, un manque de papier marginale sans atteinte à la gravure. Demi-basane verte d'époque , dos lisse. Importantes érafllures, usures aux coiffes, 2 mors fendus sur 8 et 20 cms.
