Due volumi di cm. 22, pp. ix (1) 981 (3) complessive. Con 11 tavole incise fuori testo (di cui una ripiegata) ciascuna accompagnata da una carta di testo esplicativo. Solida ed elegante legatura coeva in mezza pelle verde, dorsi a nervi con titoli e fregi in oro. Piatti in percallina verde e tagli colorati. Una macchietta che interessa l'angolo alto delle ultime carte del primo volume, peraltro esemplare genuino e ben conservato. Il primo volume contiene l'organografia e la classificazione dei vegetabili... ; il secondo un lessico di tutte le piante nostrali ed esotiche. Opera non comune del poligrafo di Bratislava, più noto per il suo Dizionario di Musica (Milano, 1826).

A picture of this book Lindley was one of the most respected botanical writers of his time. Nissen 1201. Many of the editions were published without colored plates.
