La plupart des photographies portent au dos le cachet de l'artiste parfois sa signature. La premi�re est sign�e par Fran�oise Huguier sous le tirage les autres tirages de Fran�oise Huguier portent son monogramme. Les photographies de Georges Tourdjman sont monogramm�es dat�es et parfois l�gend�es de sa main sauf pour 7 d'entre elles monogramm�es de la main de Fran�oise Huguier. Fran�oise Huguier a �crit en toutes lettres le nom de Claude Bricage sous les tirages de celui-ci. On joint dans une pochette � part un ensemble de photographies � caract�re documentaire sur le m�me sujet 11 en couleurs par le studio Patrice Astier 5 par Georges Tourdjman dont une en double et deux vues artistiques deux vues d'avion en couleurs. Projet de livre inabouti de la part des trois photographes. Three notes typed and sent to the Warm Springs Foundation oft-visited by Franklin Delano Roosevelt in an effort to the ameliorate the effects of his polio condition: January 9 1935 "Respectfully referred to the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation. signed M.A. Le Hand" from Marguerite Alice "Missy" LeHand 1898 - 1944 private secretary to President Franklin D. Roosevelt for 21 years; with January 23 1935 "My dear Mr. Little: Reference is made to your letter of January eighteenth enclosing copies of White House and Mr. McIntyre's accounts. I have been assured by Mr. Sanderson that vouchers for these two bills are now on Mr. Howe's desk and as soon as they are signed by him will be forwarded to the Warm Springs Foundation. Autographs dated between 1930 and 1943 almost all the dated autographs are from the later half of this period. Also includes some sketches and occasionally small clipped illustrations of the autographees. Notable autographs include L. M. Montgomery "yours cordially / L. M. Montgomery / 1939" with a small cat sitting on the flourish beneath the signature; aviator Jean Batten; adventurer R E Byrd; actress Gracie Fields dated 28.12.38; Canadian pastor Oswald J. Smith "Oct 1938 / Ruth 2 12"; Zane Grey "22.1.40"; film actress Jeanette Macdonald "Sincerely Jeanette Macdonald"; film actress Irene Dunne "8.7.40". Dimensions of leaves: oblong 122 x 96mm. Padded boards. Gilt edges to leaves. Binding shaken. The Montgomery autograph is on blue paper laid down on the album leaf and is opposite a watercolour seascape scene initialled "N.S." 48 leaves in total not counting the free endpapers. Many of the autographs are on paper the same size as or a little smaller than the album leaves laid down on to album leaves. The Zane Grey autograph is dated posthumously in a different hand and pen a few months after the death of Zane Grey so I surmise the date would have been made by the owner for when the autograph was pasted into the album possibly after reacing New Zealand via surface mail.
