Ci mise due settimane ad arrivare, e le mie aspettative continuavano a crescere. Quando finalmente lo vidi mi resi conto che si trattava di un capolavoro e che faceva parte de La storia del film. Un momento fa l'ho cercato su YouTube, ed eccolo in tutta la sua gloria. Su YouTube si trova anche un film di cui ho scritto in questo libro, ma che non ero riuscito a vedere: l'incredibile, folle "Una pagina di follia" di Teinosuke Kinugasa. Soltanto dodici anni fa la storia del cinema era sfuggente: bisognava essere un detective, ed essere ricchi. Ora si trova a un click di distanza. Questo significa che non desideriamo i grandi film come un tempo. Sono tutti qui. Evviva, certo, ma cerchiamo di non diventare insensibili. Ora che il cinema è a portata di mano, una guida culturale, un modo di entrare in contatto con film come "Harvest: 3000 Years" è più che mai necessaria.
