br. Una storia sorprendente, che entra nel mondo della disabilità non in punta di piedi, ma con irriverenza e dissacrante ironia. "Sono nato così, ma non ditelo in giro" è il racconto ironico, intenso, a tratti spietato, sicuramente rock, ma non senza una vena pop, della vita di Mattia Muratore. Una vita come quella di tutti, ma anche da quella di tutti straordinariamente diversa. Perché Mattia ha l'osteogenesi imperfetta, la "malattia delle ossa di cristallo": già alla scuola materna le fratture che aveva collezionato non si contavano sulle dita di mani e piedi. Eppure, grazie all'ironia e alla leggerezza con cui è trattata, questa non è una storia di dolore o sofferenza, ma di una eccezionale quotidianità, fatta, come per tutti, di primi appuntamenti, concerti e derby, conditi però da quei frequenti momenti tragicomici che capitano a chi, come l'autore, si trova immerso dentro il mondo della disabilità. Così, con una scrittura semplice e incisiva, del tutto priva di autocommiserazione o retorica, questa storia, venata di intelligente umorismo, a tratti romantica, ma mai sdolcinata, ribalta a ogni pagina lo stereotipo buonista che abitualmente si accompagna alla disabilità. E ci restituisce la preziosa consapevolezza della responsabilità di tutti verso chi il rispetto degli altri e la libertà di vivere deve conquistarseli giorno per giorno.
