ill., br. Non c'è giustificazione alcuna nei confronti di chi non vuole ancora oggi considerare l'allenamento della forza funzionale alla crescita dei giovani. Gli anni della giovinezza e della formazione motoria necessitano, invece, dello sviluppo di questa caratteristica umana, non capacità opzionale ma comprimaria nel movimento, e quindi fondamentale per la vita, prima che per lo sport. Per troppi anni molti pseudo-esperti, attraverso un negazionismo privo di scientificità, hanno voluto sostenere che i giovani sarebbero incorsi in problematiche fisiche derivanti dalla pratica dell'allenamento della forza. Questo libro, basato su evidenze scientifiche e indicazioni che vengono dalla ricerca, si propone invece di porre le condizioni affinché la forza nel movimento umano venga colta come elemento di importanza e rilievo assoluti anche prima che nel movimento sportivo. Conforta questa proposta anche l'Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità che sancisce, in termini di linee guida, che i bambini da 0 a 5 anni debbano fare movimento finalizzato allo sviluppo della forza. Ulteriore sostegno viene dall'Accademia Americana di Pediatria con una visione operativa che pone l'allenamento della forza nei giovanissimi come condizione obbligata per lo sviluppo psicofisico ottimale. Un invito ormai generalizzato a rinnegare ciò che ci ha tratto in inganno nel passato, con la forza da considerare già nell'immediato futuro patrimonio culturale e motorio da inserire nel vissuto dei giovani. La presente tesi cerca di individuare, all'interno della fenomenologia percettiva dello spettatore cinematografico, una permanenza attiva di residui filmici, ovvero tracce simboliche, consce e inconsce, che ne condizionano la percezione della realtà circostante. Inserendo lo spettatore in un circolo creativo, nel quale svolgono parte attiva le sue esperienze regresse e le sue costruzioni cognitive, l'opera filmica assume un valore dinamico e cerca, all'interno dell'atmosfera cinematografica, di stimolare un coinvolgimento creativo del fruitore. Analizzando, anche prettamente dal punto di vista della tecnica, i tre film della maturità di Michelangelo Antonioni si giunge a individuarne le caratteristiche intrinseche che ne esaltano l'interazione con lo spettatore e permettono l'individuazione di una complessa struttura espressiva che ne accentua l'attualità.

Questo quaderno nasce in occasione della generosa donazione di una corposa serie di documenti riguardanti Ennio De Concini effettuata nel 2012 da Ninni e Corrado, rispettivamente moglie e figlio del grande sceneggiatore, a favore della Biblioteca "Luigi Chiarini" del Centro sperimentale di cinematografia. Attraverso il lavoro di scavo e analisi all'interno di un materiale così ampio ed eterogeneo si è cercato di restituire in questo libro la poliedricità di un uomo di cinema "suo malgrado". Lo sceneggiatore romano infatti non ha mai nascosto il suo sogno originario di diventare un letterato e quindi di aver intrapreso la strada della settima arte "per ripiego", manifestando a più riprese la frustrazione di sentirsi un semplice «portatore d'acqua», anche quando quell'acqua, irrigandolo in pressoché ogni suo anfratto, è risultata capace di rendere estremamente fecondo il terreno del cinema e della televisione in Italia per più di quattro decenni. Ennio De Concini è infatti la figura cui più immediatamente si fa riferimento quando si pensa a un "sistema" e, in particolare, a una vera e propria factory o studio system all'italiana in cui la capacità di organizzare la scrittura in maniera (para)industriale si coniuga con una pratica artigianale nutrita da una profonda coscienza culturale e artistica. La sua casa nel quartiere Prati di Roma, dove impianta inizialmente la sua bottega, è in effetti la vera e propria metafora del cinema italiano nella sua epoca d'oro, quella degli anni '50 e '60 in cui, a dispetto di qualsiasi rigida distinzione tra alto e basso, tra autore e genere, tra industria e arte, i confini sono permeabili, dotati di varchi, aperture tali da consentire in ogni momento la produttiva circolazione delle idee (oltre che dei capitali). Artista o artigiano che fosse, come qui si cerca di spiegare, De Concini è stato l'artefice di un grande racconto a puntate sull'italianità e sulle sue contraddizioni. Le sue storie sono infatti il risultato di un meticoloso esercizio di osservazione che egli ha incessantemente condotto nei confronti del carattere socio-antropologico degli italiani e che per questo si ricollega a un'antica e solida tradizione culturale.

Il volume si fonda sulla consapevolezza che non esiste una storia del cinema bensì una pluralità di storie, del cinema o di ciò in cui il cinema si è trasformato dopo le rivoluzioni (tecnologiche, culturali, politiche, economiche) avvenute tra la fine del vecchio e l'inizio del nuovo millennio. Da qui l'idea di un racconto - in cui la prospettiva storica si intrecci con quella teorica - affidato a una serie di studiosi di generazioni diverse e di primissimo piano sia a livello nazionale che internazionale. Partendo dall'oggi per un percorso à rebours, il manuale è scandito da undici capitoli ciascuno dei quali, a propria volta, è anticipato e seguito da "contesti" e "controstorie": apparati nei quali si forniscono al lettore le coordinate storiche, politiche, sociali in cui si collocano i fenomeni cinematografici affrontati nei capitoli, così come brevi ma dense riflessioni mirate a problematizzare alcune questioni cruciali riguardanti la settima arte. Sfruttando questo impianto originale, l'obiettivo del libro è dare vita alla trama omogenea di una storia globale, costruita sul fitto intreccio delle tante narrazioni che la compongono.
