This set appears to be missing three sheets in comparison to other booksellers' descriptions. The contents of the folders in this set are The Fish, five sheets; The Soldier, three sheets; Granchester, five sheets; The Dead, two sheets. Also included are eighteen bound pages of commentary and associated text by Geoffrey Keynes. The tipped in print of Rupert Brooke is missing.

Deux dessins naïfs au crayon noir terminent l'ouvrage. La reliure a servi antérieurement pour un livre d'achat de 1777. Reliure tachée, restes de cordons d'attache, très bon état intérieur, écriture très soignée et très lisible. Rare.

Title printed in black over gold. XLib. Beveled edges. Extremities lightly worn with slight loss. Early ownerships on title. Rear flyleaf has drawings by Arthur S. Veit, dated 5/14/1899, showing a military cadet with rifle in profile, and the head of a young lady with hat. Arthur Stobo Veit (1884-1912), son of a manager of the Standard Oil Company, attended Montclair Military College, Pennsylvania Military Academy, and the Hill School before going to Columbia as part of the Class of 1907. These drawings were probably done while he was at the PA Military Academy. He left Columbia in 1905 to join the Standard Oil Company. In 1912 he committed suicide on a New York street, the cause of his distrees was a great mystery at the time - and remains so today. POETRY BOX 4
