Il libro si chiude con la fama acquisita da Tamerlano in Asia e in Europa, riscontrabile in trattati politici e storici rinascimentali e in opere teatrali e musicali dell'età barocca. Una rifrazione che va dalle idee di Machiavelli e di Voltaire agli studi moderni inaugurati dal grande Vassilij Bartol'd e non ultimo, alla creazione del mito di Tamerlano come fondatore del moderno Uzbekistan.
