Full-leather; simple double-ruled border in gilt to top and bottom boards; spine with 5 raised bands compartments with same simple double-rule at top and bottom title compartment in red leather lettered in gilt. Volume has been professionally repaired; new leather spine aged so well that the difference is scarcely even noticeable; original leather re-laid on boards. Original EPs; gutters reinforced with white binder's tape. Previous owner's name to fore-edge; same name signed at foot of frontispiece. Illustrated with engraved plates vignettes; frontispiece engraving trimmed. Occasional leaf with professional repairs noticeable only upon closest inspection. Textblock with light dirtying early and late from age and dust as is common with volumes that are nearly three centuries old. Else the textblock is remarkably tight bright and clean. Printed for J.
