Come poeta sperimenta vari generi dalla ballata romantica, con le Leggende e Ispirazioni, pubblicate all´epoca non solo in Italia, ma anche a Parigi e a Madrid, alla lirica vera e propria, con varie raccolte, fra cui Fede e dolore, ai testi per musica sacra, di grande risonanza, sappiamo che fino al secondo dopoguerra ancora si cantavano nelle chiese di Messina le sestine bisazziane Al sangue di Cristo. Ma Felice Bisazza non era solo uno scrittore, docente di Letteratura Italiana nell´Università di Messina, è ricordato da suoi famosi allievi, quali Annibale Maria di Francia, come un insegnante amatissimo e dalla grande capacità didattica. Un intellettuale così noto non poteva non essere socio di varie Accademie letterarie, non solo siciliane; bisogna però puntualizzare che l´attività di Bisazza non si esplica solo in campo umanistico, anzi lo scrittore era anche Segretario perpetuo della società economica di Messina, un importante istituto creato da Ferdinando II per promuovere lo sviluppo del settore agricolo e artigianale.
