A clean tight original manual from date indicated this being the pocket issue version which shows only light shelf and edge wear and is solidly bound. This copy has a Massachusetts National Guard red ink stamp to front and rear covers. Generally these manuals present light wear to tan card covers possible a small stain or two and a small crease.the interior is clean and unmarked. This is an original publication not a Print On Demand and thus the staples may show some rust which is normal for manuals of this age. . United States Government Printing Office paperback

Call softcover exterior covers show bumps and wear to the edges and corners along with scuffling and soiling particularly on the rear wrap. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates no library markings no handwriting no underlining no remainder marks etc. The pages do show some usage along with a soft crease through most of the book which can be seen near the upper outside corner angling inward. This may be from the original binding process. The first page states "This publication supersedes FM 21-76 14 March 1969".
