br. Più che un libro di galateo, questo si può dire un libro di controgalateo. Il galateo tradizionale è oggi un anacronismo: una sovrastruttura corrosa, che non regge più alle spinte del nostro tempo svelto e concreto. Già la parola galateo, fa pensare a una sorta di stereotipata coreografia, frasi fatte e gesti di rito, oggi svuotato d'ogni vitalità e d'ogni autentico significato. Il ritmo, lo spirito, le situazioni del tempo in cui viviamo richiedono ben altre cose: cose come elasticità, immediatezza, buonsenso, spirito critico, ironia. Se il galateo inteso tradizionalmente vuol dire "guida al modo di apparire", il controgalateo, vuol dire "guida al modo di essere" e quindi vivere il più sensatamente possibile in questo tempo per molti versi insensato.

She has a little carriage with a baby or dolly in it. They are all looking a Mother Goose boy is pointing flying on her white goose. Mother has a red cape/red witch's hat with yellow buckle. Rear board is solid blue. Quite a bit of edge blue color rub off/corners have some open wear. Some damage to spine ends. Book has looseness but is together with itself quite good. Endpapers are yellow/white large lettering of Mother Goose with her flying in the center. Small wormholes. Inked inscription on title page 'To Willis From Grandad & Granny Dec.25 1942.Very nice black/white and color illustration of characters . Some full color pages. Some smugies/minor penciling throughout but no torn pages. Over 90 rhymes from A Well to "Where Are You Going My Pretty Maid ". Free gift wrapping card and drop shipping.
