The volume appears to be missing one page alphabetically arranged. There is the suggestion of preceding volumes I.e. 'see Homicide Vol 3. Each bio is about 6-8 pages 8 ill some pages browned some faint or foxed. 12mo calf leather with some staining. In the Appendix is the trial of Alexander Campbell murderer which took place in 1808 largely after the book was submitted to the publishers. It was included for its notoriety--a Major shooting his Captain in a duel. At his hanging 'there was scarecely a dry eye out of the thousands assembled'.
