An einen namentlich nicht genannten Autographensammler: "Ihrem Wunsche entsprechend, sende ich Ihnen hiermit einige Zeilen, die als Autograph von mir Ihrer Sammlung entsprechen mögen. Ich freue mich herzlich, Ihnen damit dienlich sein zu können […]". - Friese kam 1852 als jugendlicher Komiker an das Josefstädter Theater nach Wien, war seit 1859 Ensemblemitglied des Deutschen Theaters in Pest und hatte später ein Engagement am Wiener Carl-Theater. Dir gleich den Anderen meine Huldigung darbringen kann, dazu bedarf es wohl keiner weiteren Versicherung meinerseits. Du weißt es ja, wie hoch ich Dich als Künstlerin schätze, welch' aufrichtige Freundschaftsgefühle ich zu allen Zeiten für Dich im Herzen getragen und Du wirst daher diese wenigen Zeilen als meinen herzlichsten Glückwunsch freundlichst aufnehmen.
