Hoheit erhalten und lege ich Ihnen das Bild bei, das ich mir aber zurückerbitte. Meiner Ansicht nach wird es sich am besten als Lichtdruck zu Beginn des Heftes ausnehmen. Als Holzschnitt dürfte es gegen die wahrhaft prächtigen Adlerschen [?] Zeichnungen abfallen und das darf durchaus nicht sein. Auf die meisten Zeichnungen kann ich im Text nicht Bezug nehmen, denselben aber um 2 Seiten zurückzudämmen wird schwer sein, da ich mitten im Zuge bin. Die 'Erinnerungen eines alten Meiningers' bringen Ihnen aber namentlich aus der Zeit ehe die Meininger gastirten so viele persönliche Details und kleine humoristische u. a. Schlagzeilen, dass ich glaube, Sie werden selber nichts streichen wollen [...]" (7.
