Unterschrift auf Qu.-8vo. mit drei gedr. Portraitaufnahmen. Montiert auf Trägerkarton. Nach kurzer Tätigkeit am Wiesbadener Residenztheater, am Kölner Sommertheater Flora und am Preßburger Theater gab Betty Stojan 1894 ein mehrwöchiges, sehr erfolgreiches Gastspiel am Jantschtheater in Wien. Im selben Jahr wurde sie als Erste Operettensoubrette am Hamburger Thalia-Theater engagiert und 1895 am Wiener Carltheater, wo Stojan zu einer der beliebtesten Operettensängerinnen Wiens wurde. 1898 wechselte sie an das Berliner Metropoltheater, stand jedoch schon 1899 als Pepi Pleininger in der Uraufführung von Johann Strauß' "Wiener Blut" wieder auf der Bühne des Carltheaters, das sie nach Jauners Tod 1900 auch eine Zeitlang gem. mit Julius Spielmann und Eduard Steinberger geleitet haben soll.

Seit 1888 Ensemblemitglied der Hofoper in Wien, war er vor allem als Regisseur tätig.

Verso die signierte Sentenz "Nur was wir selber glauben | glaube man uns". - Strakosch debütierte 1862 in Troppau, spielte am Deutschen Theater in Pest, 1865-67 am Hoftheater in Hannover und ging dann nach Paris, wo er sich bei Mitgliedern der Comédie française weiterbildete. Dankt Josef Wesely für ihr übersandte Wünsche zum Geburtstag. - Josefine Stransky studierte Musik, Klavier und Gesang sowie Sprachen und Kunstgeschichte und erhielt eine Gesangsausbildung bei Marie Seyff-Katzmayr und Luise von Ehrenstein-Fränkel. Seit 1923 vorwiegend als Konzertsängerin tätig, wirkte sie u. a. in Oratorien mit und sang Lieder; 1926/27 war sie an der Wiener Volksoper. Ihr Gatte war der Neurologe und Psychiater Erwin Stransky.
