Ove si presenti, però, un nuovo problema, o un nuovo metodo di calcolo da comprendere e poi utilizzare, risulta per lui necessario riconsolidare, in modo propedeutico, le proprie basi teoriche. Cosa, in vero, piuttosto difficoltosa e scoraggiante, quando sia costretto a consultare corposi testi didattici nel poco tempo a disposizione. Il presente libro espone la teoria che sta alla base della preparazione dell'ingegnere di classica formazione, e in particolare dell'ingegnere civile. I singoli argomenti sono trattati in poche pagine, sebbene in modo rigoroso, senza rimandi esterni, in quanto la teoria è costruita secondo una catena logica essenziale e continua.

Zeitgenössisches schwarzes oder dunkelbraunes Halbleder mit einfacher Rückenvergoldung. Deckelkaschierung mit Marmorpapier. Vorsatzpapiere etwas leimschattig. Schnitt etwas angestaubt. Alter kleiner Stempel auf Titel. Schnittränder der Falttafeln hin und wieder mit ganz kleinem Staubrand. Bindung fest. Block sauber. Im ganzen sehr ordentliches und dekoratives Exemplar.
