CHINA - GREECE Ancient Peoples, Changing Worlds
China-Greece: Ancient Peoples, Changing Worlds presents 130 color photographs of these two countries illustrating the rapid changes that have, and are taking place in each. The Greek photographs are from the 1950s and 1960s and the Chinese from 2006. The text is provided in both English and Greek. This is Mr. McCabe's eighth book of photographs and his first with color photographs of Greece. The book includes all the images in the exhibition (with the same title) that is on display at the Museum of Asian Art in Corfu through May 2013. The Greek photos concentrate on the Aegean islands, and the Chinese focus on the Yangtze River port of Wushan and on Old Shanghai. Mr. McCabe's book on the Ramble in Central Park was the winner in 2012 of the Foreward Gold Medal for Best in the Nature category for 2011 books. His 2004 book of Greek photographs is in its fourth printing. ; 11.3 X 9.6 X 1.0 inches; 167 pages; Oversized
