This copy is fairly clean with a well attached cloth wrap which has a couple of insect chewed places on the back cover. The cloth cover is attached over staples which have rusted through the cloth. And the last few pages have suspicious chunks missing from the bottom of the pages. However for basic recipes for homemade puddings ice cream cakes jellies canning and preserving candies and breads it would be hard to find one any better. These are basic ecomonical recipes with everyday ingredients. 80 pages with a table setting section times for roasting meat and poultry cooking processes and terms.
