Nello stesso periodo Brian Behlenford, fondatore di Apache e guru della Silicon Valley, lanciava una mailing list tutta dedicata alla cosiddetta Intelligent Dance Music di produttori come Aphex Twin, Autechre e in seguito Boards of Canada: tre nomi tra i più venerati del panorama musicale degli ultimi decenni, maestri indiscussi del suono elettronico nato dalla grande stagione techno. Eppure AFX, AE e BOC restano figure misteriose, sfuggenti, le cui biografie non hanno nulla del respiro epico a cui ci hanno abituati decenni di mitologie pop. Ma allora perché la loro influenza è tanto cruciale? From 1950 to 1958 he was the leader of the well-known Polish jazz group, Melomani. Throughout 1964 he performed both inside and outside of Poland. Since 1965 he has mainly produced music for films and commercials.
