1 S. Wohl an den namentlich nicht genannten Baurat Julian Niedzielski, dem er zur Vermählung (vermutlich 1877/78) gratuliert. - Epstein lehrte von 1867-1901 am Wiener Konservatorium. Zu seinen Schülern zählten Ignaz Brüll und Gustav Mahler. Er gab zahlreiche Werke erstmals im Druck heraus und war Mitarbeiter der ersten Gesamtausgabe von Schuberts Werken. “Seine pianistische Kunst gründete sich auf eine vollendete, bis in das letzte Detail durchgebildete Technik, an der etwa die unübertreffliche Gleichmäßigkeit des Trillerspiels gerühmt wurde, und auf einen auch noch im Pianissimo beseelten, aller dynamischen Abstufungen fähigen Anschlag. Man hat Epsteins Vortragsart mit der von Mozart gepflegten Spielart verglichen, und so wurde er selbst zum berufenen Interpreten Mozartscher Klaviermusik, vor allem seiner Klavierkonzerte, zu denen er auch, wie zu den Beethovenschen, gediegene, leider ungedruckte Kadenzen schrieb [...]” (MGG III, 1457). - Geboren im polnischen Stryszow, studierte Julian Niedzielski (1849-1901) an der technischen Hochschule in Wien bei Heinrich Frh. von Ferstel, brachte im Sinne seines Lehrers die Restaurierung der Wiener Schottenkirche zum Abschluß und errichtete als Mitinhaber der Firma Miksch & Niedzielski mehrere Villen sowie private und auch öffentliche Gebäude, darunter die Marienbader Kolonnaden, das Kurhaus und die Sparkasse in Reichenberg.

brossura Seattle, aprile 1994. Kurt Cobain, motore creativo della più grande rock band degli anni '90, viene trovato morto nella sua villa col cranio sfondato e un fucile stretto tra le dita. Prima ancora che l'indagine venga chiusa, la polizia di Seattle sentenzia: suicidio. In fondo tutti gli elementi sembrano esserci: l'arma del delitto, la nota del suicida, almeno un precedente tentativo documentato di togliersi la vita. Eppure, già poco dopo la morte del cantante iniziano a circolare voci secondo cui Kurt sarebbe stato ucciso. Un giornalista di Seattle scova discrepanze nel rapporto della polizia. L'investigatore privato Tom Grant, già assunto da Courtney Love per trovare il marito, contesta gli esami tossicologici e l'autenticità della grafia nella lettera d'addio. La notizia più sensazionale è però quella di El Duce, cantante dei Mentors, che dichiara di sapere chi ha ucciso Kurt Cobain. Peccato finisca sotto un treno una settimana dopo queste rivelazioni. Nel 2015 Tom Grant realizza un nuovo documentario, "Soaked in Bleach", dove presenta una serie di intercettazioni e nuove prove assolutamente sconvolgenti, al punto da far dichiarare all'ex-comandante del Dipartimento di Polizia di Seattle Norm Stamper che, se lui fosse ancora in servizio, chiederebbe la riapertura del caso. Epìsch Porzioni ha trascorso anni a indagare sul suicidio di Kurt, setacciando il mondo del leader dei Nirvana da capo a piedi: indizi tralasciati, calligrafie forse contraffatte, impronte mancanti, testimonianze ambigue, mezze ammissioni e poi lei; la più oltraggiosa, eccessiva ed ambigua vedova della storia del rock: Courtney Love. La donna in questi ultimi 25 anni ne fa di tutti i colori, fra arresti, cliniche di disintossicazione, denunce, post complottisti, lotte con i due membri superstiti dei Nirvana e persino minacce di morte all'ex marito di Frances Bean, la figlia avuta da Kurt Cobain. Senza dimenticare che sembra proprio lei la prima a non credere al suicidio dell'icona del grunge.

The Haumans are best known for illustrating what is perhaps the most popular edition of 'The Little Engine That Could'. The two pages of music are written for children in the key of D Major. The last back page contains an advertisment for music published by the Boston Music Company in its 'Educational series of Teaching Pieces'. "Zeytinburnu: A quarter monography: A common but wrong belief about the Zeytinburnu District is that the settlement in this area has begun with the slum formation and has had a past of about thirty of forty years. However, the studies carried out show that the settlement in the area has a very old past. This area was very important militarily and religiously the Byzantine Istanbul, known as the 'Second Romeî'. Among the historical structures taken over in this period by our district that was on the passage way of the Byzantine Army were Yedikule Fort to which Sultan Mehmed II Conqueror made some editions and Baliklama Ayazma (Holy Spring) and Church. Balikli Spring first became the subject of an epic on the Byzantine enthronement Of Leon I and became known with its modern name owing to an epic that is rumored to have been created during the conquest of Istanbul (Constantinople). Also, we can wholeheartedly say that our Zeytinburnu District has a rare wealth in terms of Islamic mysticism. Dervish Lodges within the boundaries of our district such as Perisan Baba, Hadji Mahmud Aga, Seyyid Nizam and Merkez Effendi Dervish lodges, as well as Yenikapi Mevlevi House, mentioned as a music academy, have been occasion for the education of extremely important figures of our mystic history.".
