Moline Illinois: John Deere. Four account books two have the 1932 calendar on rear cover one is 1936 and the other is illegible. One has a stamp on the front cover reading: Ben Heinrichs Gretna Box 137. My best guess is that this is Gretna Manitoba. Fascinating information in the Yearly Inventory and other listings of expenses incurred in the day to day running of the farm. Lots of family names listed presumably other farmers in the area. These were distributed by John Deere and are in stiff card covers with a cloth tape spine and measure 8" by 10". They are all quite soiled and stained. Poor condition. . Soft Cover. Poor.
