The "Teaching of English" series includes an Appendix of Literary Exercises discussion questions. This book belonged to a student pencilled name and "Shell 2 Havergal College" on ffep but study markings are limited to underlining of individual names not phrases on first occurence and circling of an occasional page number - in pencil only. In very good condition tight and aside from already noted quite clean. Bumps to corners & rubbing to spine ends part of one of the gilt ornaments is rubbed. Beautiful lightweight little book feels lovely in the hand. Kingsley's book contains the stories of Perseus; Theseus; and Jason and the Argonauts. The selected poems deal with the same themes but from different sources for purposes of comparison. Reprint. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4.5" x 6.5" 11.5cm x 16.5cm.
