La Premiata Forneria Marconi, meglio nota come PFM, è stata l'unica rock band italiana ad avere successo internazionale: merito di una straordinaria discografia all'insegna del progressive-rock e di un'inimitabile tecnica che porta il gruppo tra i più capaci performer di sempre. Nati come "Quelli", complesso beat attivo in studio con Mina, Battisti e De André, nel 1970 diventano Premiata Forneria Marconi con "Storia di un minuto" e "Per un amico", grandi successi di pubblico e critica. Alla fine degli anni Settanta la PFM è con Fabrizio De André in una storica tournée congiunta.
