Informative letter written by the African-American activist author playwright composer and widow of W.E.B. Du Bois. She is thanking a friend for "sending me the news: 'Du Bois Classic Added to White House Library.' .I made a copy and sent it to President Nkrumah."Du Bois is honored throughout Africa as 'The Father of Pan-Africanism'. He was buried here with all the honors of a State Head and lies.near the sea over which his great-great grandfather was carried away into slavery."
