Norwegian Shipping Co. for the 1952 Winter Olympics VI which featured 694 athletes from 30 countries in 22 events in the birthplace of modern skiing and also featured 109 women competitors. Alpine skiing featured the giant slalom in its debut event and Austrian skiiers dominated the competition winning seven of 18 medals Finns and Norwegians dominated the Cross-Country Skiing events and the Nordic Combined and only one ski jumping event was held won by Arnfinn Bergmann.
