Small ink stain on front board. A few small waterstains on upper edges of rear board inside back cover and BEP. Page block is age tanned and grubby. Front inner paper hinge torn and repaired with tape. Back inner paper hinge split. Frontispiece plate beginning to detach from page block with one and half inch-long tear at spine foot. Age spotting to FEP BEP and reverse of frontispiece plate. Gift-note is neatly penned on top of title page. Pages are slightly tanned with occasional grubby marks on leading edges.
