More or less well-known figures of a new generation which will help to profoundly change the face of a Church in the grip of an essentially political power struggle and bring it back to its primary spiritual and theological duties. Almost exactly contemporary the theologian born in 1624 and the nun Jacqueline Pascal one year his junior who died less than a month apart in 1661 have marked each in their own way the universe. in which they lived the Faculty of Theology for the first the world of the convent for the second. .
