Bonaventure of Bagnoregio 1221-1274 became one of the most prominent men in Latin Christianity. Het made philosophical claims that influenced later thinkers. The coat of arms is alike of that of the ex libris of the family Van Havre other ex libris known that are alike by Gustave Charles Antoine Marie Van Havre and Constantin Charlesmarie van Havre. Hij leefde van 1221-1274. Hij schreef het officiele heiligenleven van Franciscus van Assisi de stichter van de Franciscanen. Paus Gregorius X benoemde hem in 1273 tot kardinaal en bisschop van Albano. Hij wordt samen met Thomas van Aquino beschouwd als grootste theoloog uit de Scholastiek. Zijn werken hebben en mystieke inslag. In 1482 is hij heilig verklaard.De abdij van Kortenberg Belgie is een voormalig Benedictinessenklooster 1222-1797. Maria Leermans was abdis van 1671-1682. De naam van de abdij is verbonden met het bekende charter van Kortenberg van 1312.Only two copies known in STCN.The Soliloquium a compendium of St. Bonaventure's mystical teaching was one of his most popular works. Cast in the form of a dialogue between man and the soul it includes many citations from the spiritual teachings of the Fathers of the Church.
