He likens the Schneider motifs to B-Movies showing people who don't want to succumb to the Hollywood dream. Memories of Cindy Sherman's "Untitled Film Stills" flair up he writes though Schneider's photos are soft a picture language with pale artificially garish color scales tying into the stereotypes of Hollywood films.
