Title continues: Being the Five Hundredth Catalogue Issued by Maggs Bros. Booksellers." Maggs celebrated its 500th catalog with bibliographical fireworks displaying the wide range of their riches from illuminated manuscripts to a Napoleon letter to the first Greek Aristotle 1495-98 plus 19 Americana. When I obtained this there was beginning the damage typical of such a large and heavy book. I had it repaired and bound in a red leather spine with gilt decoration to encase appropriately such a magnificent publication. Stock#OB1030. Maggs Bros hardcover
