Unused the card was possibly intended to be specifically used as a drug-advertising ephemera piece a copy at the Wellcome Collection in London advertised Burdock Blood Bitters used to treat dyspepsia insomnia biliousness and constipation with additional text: "You can eat anything from Mush to Rail Road Sandwiches by keeping your Stomach and Digestive Apparatus in perfect order by the use of." It showed a grotesquely-exaggerated figures of two gentlemen - the first a horrified-looking train agent and the second folded at the waist in a painfully-uncomfortable posture. s. n. unknown books

Part user's manual and part recipe book it was published by the Frigidaire Corporation "especially for Frigidaire Automatic Refrigerators equipped with the Frigidaire Cold Control."
