Il loro aspetto editoriale è sopratutto pratico: indicano che quel libro è utile per un gran numero di lettori, per lo specialista come per il neofita, per i docenti come per gli studenti. In breve, ognuno, quale che sia il suo livello di cultura, troverà un interesse nel consultarlo. Anche la presente raccolta, Teorica di arredamento e design, mira a conquistare il maggior numero possibile di lettori, avvertendo tuttavia, a costo di ridurre l´auto-pubblicità, che essa è sì accessibile a tutti, ma in maniera distinta. Infatti, data l´eterogeneità dell´argomento – già in partenza dedicato a due discipline – le diverse tematiche e i molti livelli di approfondimento, fanno sì che il testo, possa essere letto per intero, ma anche consultato per parti. Se infatti l´architettura, che riguarda soprattutto un sol genere di produzione, quello dell´edificare, per dirla con Vitruvio, est scientia pluribus disciplinis et variis eruditionibus ornata, a maggior ragione il design, che riguarda ogni tipo di produzione, è una scienza che si compone a sua volta di più discipline e conoscenze.
