From the dust jacket: "While religious faith at least that which is of the orthodox type appears to be on the decline and church attendances fall the great experience of death which all men must undergo continues to intrigue many who seldom if ever cross the threshold of a church. In this meticulously compiled volume Dr. Robert Crookall an eminent scientist who is also a student of psychical research has brought together from a great many different sources what appear to be the personal testimonies of the experiences of death and survival. Taken together they form an impressive body of evidence on a topic where opinion is frequently expressed but evidence seldom considered: what we have here an entirely new kind of evidence. The success of the first edition of this book published in 1961 has persuaded the publishers of the need for a new and revised edition.". Second Edition Revised and Updated. Hardcover. From the publisher: "Beyond the initial training in how to do soul retrievals the transformational information you find in this book was a direct gift to Maryphyllis by her primary spirit guides. The intention of it initially was for her own healing and spiritual growth. This was because there were no other humans who could help her attain the deep level of integration and transformation that her spirit guides said was needed. In fact several people said that a soul retrieval doesn't need inner follow-up work and that all a person needs to do is to just continue working on their issues. In the beginning Maryphyllis tried doing that but found herself becoming more deeply mired in the negativity of her soul parts. When she first set up her private practice she also witnessed how two of her clients treated their soul parts in an uncaring thoughtless manner. It was clear to her that they did not fully grasp their soul parts' significance. This disturbed her so much that she felt compelled to write down what Spirit's guidance has been at each stage of the transformation process. As she applied Spirit's lessons in her life she experienced greater wholeness wonder joy peace and much less fear. These wonderful feelings created an even greater desire to share what she found. Her clients also encountered the same healing results each in their own way of course. Their experiences proved to her that the information she was given is universal in application. This book is here so that you too may benefit from Spirit's gifts. The first part describes the nature of the soul soul loss and soul retrieval. The remainder is devoted to what the soul part needs when it returns to you how to effectively and satisfyingly work with it what to expect in the process and what pitfalls to avoid. Numerous stories from clients illustrate methods and out-comes. Methods are designed for use within the shamanic journey but can also be used in other trance forms.". SIGNED by the AUTHOR. From the book: "Lay on your back with your head pointing northward and your legs stretched out straight on a firm mattress or futon no pillow. If you choose to use a crystal position it to the north of your head. Place your arms most comfortably at right angles to your body bent at your elbows so that your hands are also pointing northward. Your arms should still be laying flat. You could hold small crystals in your hands. However if this position for your arms is not comfortable for you do not place crystals in your hands if they are pointing to the south because the energy from the crystals will probably activate your lower chakras. If you have enough hair it should also be flowing to the north. You will thus be taking advantage of the north/south magnetic energy flow of the Earth giving you much better mental control. However when very tired I have had short and sometimes very intense trips while all curled up.". 1st ed No additional printings listed. Softcover. Fine condition. réf. 53215Stroud Gloucestershire: The History Press The Mill Brinscombe Port 2009 . First Edition. Clean hadrback with a very good illustrated dustwrapper. 6pp./pp.7 - pp.384 . Clean throughout with numerous illustrations. VG. From the dustwrapper: "The Complete Guide to 'The Most Haunted House in England'. Borley Rectory in Essex built in 1862 should have been an ordinary Victorian clergyman's house. However just a year after its construction unexplained footsteps were heard within the house and from 1900 until it burned down in 1939 numerous paranormal phenomena including phantom coaches and shattering windows were observed. In 1929 the house was investigated by the Daily Mail and paranormal researcher Harry Price and it was he who called it 'the most haunted house in England.' Price also took out a lease of the rectory from 1937 to 1938 recruiting forty-eight 'official observers' to monitor occurences. After his death in 1948 the water was muddied by claims that Price's findings were not genuine paranormal activity and ever since there has been a debate over what really went on at Borley Rectory. Paul Adams Eddie Brazil and Peter Underwood here present a comprehensive guide to the history of the house and the ghostly or not goings-on there." From GoodReads: "In this revealing book Ricardo González shares his incredible experiences with the Apunians extraterrestrial beings that come from the future with a powerful message. 'The messages of the Beings are very precise and they have the elements to verify them. There is a hopeful future but some old structures have to be transformed. What I would say to people is not to be afraid because fear is the antithesis of love. Fear paralyzes and does not allow us to make the right decisions. We have to open our consciousness to react according to that and to create a better future for us all. Extraterrestrials may support us but they will never solve our problems. The real contact is with ourselves.' -- Ricardo González." . First English edition so stated. Softcover. New condition. 180pp. Great Packaging Fast Shipping. Luminous Moon Press Paperback
