In-12 °, collection of ten pamphlets, contemporary calf binding, bands, label and gilt title on the spine, red edges, good copy, ex libris on the endpaper (back side). The seventh pamphlet is a letter written by the Archbishop of Utrecht to an unknown French clergyman, in which the prelate deals with current issues in the Church, including Jansenism. The eighth and ninth pamphlets are grievances that the Norman Parliament addressed to Louis XVI regarding the imposition of new taxes, while the last pamphlet is the inauguration speech given by M. Le Franc de Pompignac before the French Academy and the speech in response to this given by M. Dupré de Saint Maure, President of the Academy.
