The business that Norman Clark founded in 1919 is still in existence; following his death in 1951 his sons incorporated it as Norman G. Clark Pty. Ltd. For this reason together with the disruptions caused by the Second World War and the immediate post-war period it is highly likely that this trade catalogue dates back to the 1930s. We purchased this item many years ago from the estate of Dr Hedley Ralph Marston; if you don't know about him consult the 'Australian Dictionary of Biography' without delay.
