Back page summary in English: In the sixth year of World War II, the Yivo will observe its twentieth anniversary. In all these years the strength of the Yivo will lay in the interrelation of its work with the major problems of Jewish existence. This year, the balance is fearful. The end of the war is still remote, but we already know the extent of our disaster. Others count their fallen, we count the surviving. The responsibility for the survival of the Jewish people now rests upon American Jewry. The Yivo is ready to do its share.
